Analisse: National Soccer Player - Vegan Athlete/Coach

Analisse Rios was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia.  Although soccer has always been her main sport, she also played basketball, volleyball and ran track.  When she was 16, she made the Bolivian National Soccer Team and was able to travel all around South America in the years to come while representing her country on the field.  In 2004, she moved to Connecticut to attend Connecticut College where she played soccer her 4 years.  She graduated in 2008 and became a middle school teacher.  After teaching for 10 years, it has all come back full circle as she is now the Strength and Conditioning Coach and the assistant Women's Soccer Coach for Connecticut College.  She became plant-based back in 2012 after her wife and herself did a 30 day vegan challenge over the summer.  30 days went by and she realized that she didn't have her usual stomachaches after meals.  She never looked back and now her wife and herself have been vegan for 7 years!

VEGAN ATHLETE ENERGY CAFFEINE
How I use BTC: I LOVE BTC bars. I usually have them before a workout but I have had them after a workout to refuel, or mid afternoon in between coaching groups as a quick pick me up. I usually have them as a bar but sometimes, I like to top by smoothie bowls with little BTC chunks.
